Spray Machines

Our spray machines are adaptable to a wide range of uses and styles.

The 60 station rotary coats parts from four programmable tree mounted gun assemblies as the parts are continuously rotated on spindles.

The robot pallet indexer coats parts as they are indexed under a Fanuc programmable robot. All of the machines have preheat and cure tunnels, and capture system.

Preheat, Cure and Cooling Make the Difference

The pre-heat tunnel is capable of delivering and maintaining temperatures in excess of 250 degrees “F” (121 C).

The process temperature is controlled by solid state components.

The cure tunnel is insulated and heated by an electric duct heater. Heated air is delivered directly to the sprayed parts.

The cure tunnel provides the heat necessary to “flash off” the sprayed components.

The “VOC’s” are captured and pulled into the capture system to feed directly to an oxidizer.

Cooling of the sprayed parts is achieved by blowing ambient or air conditioned air directly on the sprayed components.

Pre Heat Chamber

The pre-heat tunnel is capable of delivering and maintaining temperatures in excess of 250 degrees F” (121 degrees “C”.

The process temperature is controlled by solid state components.

Parts to be sprayed enter the insulated pre-heat tunnel and they remain inside the tunnel for several indexes and dwells, bringing the component to be sprayed to process temperature.

An efficient electric duct heater is utilized to generate the heat and the hot air is blown directly on each component to be sprayed.

A broad range of process temperatures can be attained and controlled by “SCR” interface directly to an Allen Bradley 5/04 PLC.

Thermal couples mounted at various points provide accurate temperature data for precise control.

Cure Chamber

After the parts are sprayed, they enter the cure tunnel. The cure tunnel is insulated and heated by an electric duct heater.

Heated air is blown directly on sprayed parts. The cure tunnel provides the heat necessary to “flash off” the sprayed components.

The VOC’s are captured and pulled into the capture system to feed directly to the oxidizer.

Cooling

Cooling of the sprayed parts is achieved by blowing ambient air directly on the sprayed components.

This cools the parts so that the operator can safely handle them.

Note: A commercial air conditioning unit can easily be added to cool the parts even further should it be necessary.
